If you find yourself:

  • In relationships that are in a rut,
  • Part of an environment that’s keeping you ‘safe’ and ‘reasonable’, or
  • Feeling limited by the time, energy, or money to make something happen…

It is likely a moment to ask where you might be limiting your own capacity and begin intentionally surrounding yourself with human beings who ask you to dream bigger and expand your capacity for good.

Most people live inside of a pretty narrow and constricted idea of what’s possible. The idea of imagination, curiosity, and wonder is very frequently lost pretty early on in our lives, and so very often we limit our idea of what’s possible based on what we already know.

I recently asked a client to describe what they most deeply desire—not what they think is ‘possible’—but to actually open the aperture of their awareness and consider what they really want if they didn’t have to figure out how to make it all happen.

We must set aside the limitations, restrictions, and congestion of our current paradigms, or existing reality, for new possibilities to emerge.

When we move on the planet constantly restricting and limiting ourselves around what’s possible, we narrow our view, limit our creativity, and actually become resistant to new opportunities.

Consider that you, in fact, are magnetic, and that the intentions, desires, possibilities, and imagination that you occupy is drawing unto you that what you have in every given moment.

You are not here to exist inside of some small, narrow, constricted, fear-based reality. You are here to go beyond what you already know is possible.

I’m not suggesting that as a result you will get all that your finite self thinks it needs and wants; this is not about more stuff or creature comforts.

I’m proposing that merely the exercise of expanding your capacity to imagine beyond what you already know draws unto you more and more.

New solutions will emerge, new opportunities will be presented, and you will walk on the planet drawing unto you that which you desire rather than focusing on this very finite reality and living with a fairly narrow existence.

Return to your sense of imagination and creativity as a child. Pay attention to the young people around you. Allow their sense of make believe and play to inspire you today.

And consider: Where are you limiting your own capacity?
